We believe in putting children at the heart of everything we do, in each and every interaction by taking into account the cognitive, social, cultural, physical, emotional and spiritual aspect of development. Therefore, the role we play as carers is vital to a child’s long term wellbeing.
Our philosophy is to provide balance across each facet of learning through adult-child interactions. When planning activities, focus is placed on each child’s individual interest, age, stage of development and learning requirements. We use a blended approach to draw upon our teachings techniques, ranging from Montessori to High Scope. We believe it is important for children to have structure, consistency with positive behaviour and love.
To provide safe, secure and high quality childcare for children between the ages of 6months to 3 years old; in which each child can achieve their potential in all areas of learning with highly trained and engaged team members providing adult-child interaction, through a conscientious programme of learning.
This wonderful setting is located with-in a 15 minutes’ walk from Bromley South also Bromley North, Sundridge Park and Grove Park train station. There are local buses from Bromley Common, Biggin Hill, Orpington, the other way they go to Catford, Lewisham and London. The 336 bus route stops 5 minute from the setting, also bus routes for 126, 261 & 638 are a short walk away. Local facilities include Downham Health & Leisure Centre and playing fields, Shaftsbury Park, Kings Meadow park, Burnt Ash Library and Family and Children’s Centre.
We have created a warm, welcoming environment with large rooms deconstructed into educational themed areas to excite babies, toddler, pre-school children and the older ones too. Each sections are inter-linked to facilitate the Early Learning Goals specific area of learning by providing age appropriate equipment that stimulates physical development, curiosity and learning through play. The themed sections challenges each child to achieve their full potential by presenting opportunities to explore in a safe, thought-provoking and fun environment; enabling children to flourish in all aspects of their development.
